Nice knife, great choice
This is a little stiff opening and closing. Nice sturdy feel to it. It was a little bigger than I expected. Once I got it loosened up, and carried it a few days., I fell in like with it. I thought about the scorpion lock and how it works. I feel it's the safest lock yet. So with feel, the sturdy make up and safest lock I see on the market so far great knife. I would like to see a liter weight, a bit smaller. For wearing shorts or when I'm not at work.

Beast Mode EDC!
Heavier than expected but not unpleasant to hold, adds a bit of heft. The Scorpion lock took some getting used to but now I can open and close it single handed (both hands).Pros:- Sharp out of the box!- Taiwanese steel….not as good as USA, but close!- Cost for a near indestructible knife- My new preferred EDC, even with cons below.Cons:- Slightly asymmetrical thumb stud (Left vs Right)- Slight play in blade if not gripped tight (about 0.5-1 mm)- 440c Steel…..would pay more for D2 or 135CPM!- Weight….could have made it smaller and lighter for the right ‘feel’- Pocket Clip….will take frequent use to work it inOverall solid knife at a good price point from Cold Steel. This can be used for darn near anything….hunting, camping, fishing, military, etc. Feels great with or without gloves. Again, I would love to see a different steel as well as a tanto version!

Unique lock
This knife has a very unique locking system. It feels pretty solid in the hand. Definitely not a fidget knife. Not a light knife either. Overall pretty cool, but the lock isn’t easy to use or comfortable. So minus 1 star.

The AUS10A steel is actually very good!
As I was saying...The AUS10A steel is actually very good! I was concerned, but after reviewing it here and other professionals online, I took the plunge. And I'm so glad I did!!You will NOT go wrong with this knife! Razor sharp is the truth, especially after I honed it on my diamond rod. Slices through paper, tape, etc like hot butter.Don't hesitate, especially at this UNBELIEVABLE price point... or you'll regret it.

Not bad but not that great
The knife actually feels good in my larger than average hands, my copy really doesn't have any side to side blade play and the lock up is solid. Mine came pretty sharp out of the box with a pretty uniform grind so no real complaints. The main issue with this knife is the lock design, while it locks up soild, its just not that nice to use, if you deploy the blade with too much momentum it tends to stick after it locks the blade in place, which ruins the ease at which you can disengage the lock, not a deal breaker but annoying. Also not the most pocket friendly knife out there, as it takes up a good bit of space in your pocket, the heft of the knife doesnt do it any favors either, but if you like cold steel knives you know all about that, ultimately its not a terrible knife but I think its very over priced for what you get, even with a cool lock design, that coupled with how it carries in the pocket makes it more a conversation piece than a good edc knife.

This lock is not a gimmick and this blade is awesome!
The lock feature is really awesome for opening one handed with either hand. I am a landscaper so I use this for all types of cutting and slicing applications and this is razor sharp straight out of the box.It feels great in my large hands. The handle texture feels awesome in my palm. It also has nice grip.It is a bit heavy in the pocket but it is so cool and practical that I don’t mind it’s weight.I have played with Benchmade axis lock and this is more fun to open one handed and it looks so much cooler.I see a few reviews about the lock mechanism being a bit sharp or hard to open with your hand. If you are a tough human with strong hands and callus you won’t have a problem!
