I welded to a 4" pipe to extend a hitch on a water trailer. Welded good, good material. If I am ever in need of another hitch of this type I would definitely buy this one again.

This is a quality hitch. It's made from cast steel. The latch works great. The ball fits very nicely, with very little slop. The best I've seen.

If you want a strong easy latching, and secure hitch, this one is hard to beat for your money. We fully welded it and boxed it in with 1/4 inch plate. Its not going anywhere. Ever.

As someone who owns a metal fabrication business, this is well made piece, a little advice, hire a journeyman welder to install, this is meant to be welded by a professional.

Welded on, towed my boat around, simple to adjust, heavy duty, clip is on spring and key pin is on a wire so there’s no losing the pin, the thing I didn’t like was the clip doesn’t stay back when trying to lower on the ball hitch, it has grove key pin goes but won’t stay, but the hitch is great.

The item gets a five star review everyday of the week, but when the item arrived it was missing one big bolt and had an additional bag of weird bolts, I am quite sure this was a shipping fluke but a quick trip to the hardware store, I would not hesitate to buy this again if needed.

Only been on my triple axle trailer for a month now. We replaced a welded pintle hitch. It has an option to use two bolts for attachment. I welded mine. I have over loaded the trailer and hitch held up. I will buy one again when I need a hitch!!

The coupler looks well made and the channel is made from 1/2 steel, the welding should be done by a qualified individual
