Great pens for such a low price
They write well, I haven't had trouble with leakage (but I also always store them upright). There's a seam on the underside, but it doesn't really bother me? I only notice if I'm looking for it. They're comfortable to hold and to use. They store a TON of ink. I also just love being able to see the ink I fill a pen with, so that holds a lot of appeal for me. I have not had great success with using Lamy nibs with these, they didn't fit quite right. Only reason I tried was because I wanted to use a calligraphy nib. The nibs these come with are pretty solid, and I like them as is. I honestly really love these. I still use them daily. For the record, I have Lamy and carousel pens as well, and I still love these alongside them. If you're new to fountain pens and want some that work well at a good price, I've been extremely happy with these.

Great quality
I love these pens. They are very easy to fill, the cleaning process is easy, the ink flows nicely without leaking. The pen feels comfortable in my hand when writing/journaling. I love the extra fine nib as it gives me a nice crisp line while writing. These pens are definitely a good value for the money. They are lightweight so you can barely tell your holding them in your hand. It's the best functional fountain ink pen next to Lamy.

I have to update!! 2024
I purchased these because they were inexpensive, and I wanted to try a piston pen. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but after inking the first, I was sold. The nibs are steel but they still work very well. I especially like these pens because they won't be hard to replace if I lose one. And if one DOES 'crater', it's not that big a deal. Update 11 May 2024 Ok, there were some issues when I wrote before. After using them a little more I found that they are really decent pens. One of the pens had a never mind, but it still writes well. The other 3 have been "champs" for whatever I needed. In fact, I'm getting another set so I can have spares. AND, they are the same as Lamy nibs.

Smooth, reliable, well sealed, aesthetic -- and they hold a ton of ink. A joy to use.
I saw this product on social media and decided to try it -- at $9 for 4, no great loss if they turn out to be bad. They are phenomenal! Reliable starters with smooth nibs and steady, reliable flow. The cap seal is tight, with a positive feel as it closes. The twist-to-fill action is great. I inked one with some old Noodler's ink I had lying around, and another with a Parker blue. Both are writing beautifully. Because the body *is* the ink reservoir, they hold a ton of ink -- I'd guess 3 mLs though I haven't measured it with a syringe. This may be my new favorite pen.

Please check your pens right away bc they come damaged.
I used one from the packet and it worked fine. Then one month later tried the other one and thats when I realized the flaws. It's too late to get a refund but atleast you can write this review for the next customer. Maybe bc of the low price point the quality is a mixed bag. Erring on the bad side. I.e. Turns out half the product when first time used leaked tremendously and with in one week just all the ink flew out at once and broke. When it did write, between bursts of puddling and bleeding, it writes very thick like a medium point. Only 1 was solid and the other is semi ok, for now (only a few leaks). They write extremely smooth and don't clog. Easy to refill, but again none of them are extra fine points. More of a fine point (0.5mm). I have several other brands of fountain pens and when they say extra fine they write like a 0.3mm. However bc the only one I have is so lovely (just glides) I do recommend people to try it. Just prepare yourself to have atleast half of them to be broken, shoddy, or damaged. It still is cheap compared to other fountain pens.

Good for sketching
Initially I thought that four identical ftn pens was too much. They fill easily and do work well for sketching. I've filled one with waterproof ink and the pen has not clogged so far even after not using it for days. I have since filled a second pen with diluted ink of 1:1 ink to water, a third pen with 1:2 ink to water. These 3 different ink intensities work well for my style of sketching.

Has promise but leaks quickly
I was hoping this would last longer, but alas, ‘tis not so. For a beginner, or to have a few extra ink colors ready to go (which is why I tried this), I was hoping it would work. Nibs were good, barrel comfortable, easy to fill. Started leaking 2 weeks in though, while stored horizontally -that doesn’t work. Too bad. It showed a lot of promise otherwise. Just need better execution.

Great deal for 4 quality pens
When it comes to lower end fountain pens, it’s a hit or miss on how well they work. I’ve only tested two out of the 4 pens but they wrote beautifully. No skipping and it puts down ink on cheap notebook paper without any bleeding or feathering. It feels similar to the TWSBI Ecco pens and handles every bit as well. One thing to note is that it doesn’t come with any instructions on how to fill up the pens with ink so people who are not familiar with piston fountain pens may find it confusing, as some reviews have noted. They fill by dipping the bib into an ink bottle/well and turning the cap on top of the pen. These types of pens do not use cartridges so make sure you buy some ink to go with them if you don’t already have some. One small grip I have about the pens is that the barrel is somewhat triangular and I prefer mine to be rounded. But that’s just individual preference and not a deal breaker. Overall it’s a great deal for 4 fountain pens for the price. Update: I got a bunch of other new fountain pens from other brands and these were pushed to the back of my desk drawer for a few months. When I got them out again, they wrote beautifully and didn’t dry up at all, unlike my much more expensive Cross pens. My cheaper Lamy pens also dried up (although the higher end ones still put down ink fine after extended periods of non-use). Definitely a fan of these cheaper pens.

I have bought both expensive and cheap fountain pens, and the difference in quality was as expected. But I was pleasantly surprised at these fountain pens. I looked at the reviews and most were positive, so I thought I would give them a go, as I wanted to use different colored inks in each pen. And YES, they are very good (especially for the price). I would thoroughly recommend them! AAA +++

I have used fountain pens in the past and never had a problem but these pens have not performed without a lot of headache. I can fill them no problem but the ink is random how it flows out. The nib is very sharp and catches the paper. I wouldn't buy them again. You get what you pay for. Cheap junk

The pens came as described and in good shape. No damage to the package. I tried 2 of the pens - the blue and the pink. They loaded up easily with quality Dr. Ph. Martin ink, but unfortunately the blue one just wouldn't write consistently. The nib didn't seem to be getting ink. Rinsed it out and tried a 2nd time, but same issue. The pink pen worked fine and I didn't try the other 2. I purposely bought them to color code with my ink, so the fact that the blue one - to be my main one - didn't work was a deal breaker for me. They will be returned.
