I needed strong magnets that have adhesive backing for use with my various night lights that attach to the wall via magnets. I found a variety of similar magnets, many at a lower price, but of non-3M brand and the multiple 1 star reviews led me to stick with the 3M brand. I have never had any problems with 3M products and I have to say that once again I am completely satisfied. As with all such magnets you need to be careful when trying to separate them. They are super strong and you need to use force to slowly push/slide the top one off the one underneath rather than trying to pull them apart. Also, once you separate one from the other keep them far apart. They are incredibly strong and will easily pull back together, possibly catching your finger between them, but if you need strong magnets capable of holding hardware tools, etc. these should serve well. I have no fear of important items falling off and getting damaged.The magnets arrived the day after I ordered them. They are exactly as described and I can find nothing to complain about. I am 100% happy with this purchase. The adhesion seems strong, also, so be prepared to only place them where you will not plan to remove them later since the adhesion would likely take your paint with them if you pull the magnet off the wall.

Too strong unless it is going to be in a permanent position forever. Needed a hammer and chisel to get off.

I used one of these to stick my pura diffuser to a fixed spot in my car. Be sure to wipe the area with alcohol and let it fully dry before using like the suggestion because I did have trouble with the first one falling off but when I did it properly I had no trouble at all.

Good size with adhesive on one side. Strong magnet.

These are extremely strong. I had no trouble getting them apart though. I just very carefully slid the top battery over the others and pushed it over the side, not allowing it to pop back up. The first time, I wore a disposable glove, because I was so concerned of injury, but then realized that if you did it right, it wasn't necessary. I was hanging a small digital clock on the side of a metal cart. I was trying to take the tape off the magnet so I could secure it to the back of the plastic clock. Well, the magnet grabbed the clock and attached itself securely to it before I could get the chance. It turned out that it was connecting to the metal on the batteries that were inside the clock! So I was able to attach the clock without tape.
