I should think it does. If quality control was effective, all of the nippers would be either sharp or dull.

Q: How would one choose between Blizzard's 5.5 inch straight jaw cutter and this concave blades double spring clipper?

I'll tell you what my podiatrist told me. Especially for your big toes, the concave blade makes it easier for you to cut your toenails on a curved arc from side to side than the straight cutters can. Also, no matter the the type of clipper my podiatrist advises not cutting you toenails too short as this promotes ingrown toenails, especially in older patients.

Q: What is the difference between the single and double barrel

It is the difference in the feel/ride of the nail nipper as you operate it. Double Spring tends to give a springy/'more alive' feel as you use it. Whereas, Barrel Spring offers a smoother feel. It is personal preference.

A medical mystery Not at all clear who manufactures these clippers. Forged from German Steel is not helpful. And quality controlled an shipped from UK doesn’t help either … does it?
