I’m not usually a lipstick person but I got this for a costume, and this honestly was such a great lipstick! It’s super easy to apply, but you’ll definitely need two coats for the full affect. It’s a matte black finish and it doesn’t feel sticky, even after I applied three coats. It also wore it for about 6-7 hours, and not counting the three coats I applied right at the beginning, I did not have to reapply the entire time. It lasts through eating, drinking, lots of yapping, and once it’s dry it won’t really get on your teeth. You could probably apply a light coat of gloss if you wanted a shiny finish. It also didn’t look cakey, even after three coats. Overall, a great lipstick and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a long lasting black lipstick.

The color was perfect. It does bleed a little for those of us with mature lips or drinks from straws so a good liner fixes this problem. Has a little metallic look to it which I loved and feels great on the lips. NOT drying. Stayed on well but after a meal needed touched up. But only once in 4 hours. Will buy this brand again!

I haven't gotten to wear this in public yet, but I tried it on last night and it's the perfect color! I've been hunting for a true violet lipstick for months since Nyx discontinued their amethyst hue, and KVD's wolfsbane color is beautiful but isn't available in stores. This was my solution, and it's fantastic! I only gave it four stars because it's a little more translucent than similar shades in other brands, so I had to apply two coats in some places. However, after I blotted it and it fully dried, it was stuck to my lips like glue (in a good way). I drank a few different beverages with it on, and there was very little transfer. It also wasn't nearly as drying as the liquid lipsticks I own from other brands, like Maybelline. My lips still felt a little chapped after an hour or so despite an undercoat of chapstick, but I sort of expect it at this point when I wear liquid lipsticks. Just for fun, I applied an overcoat of blue-pink shimmer lip gloss and it was beautiful! If I remember later this weekend, I'll post a picture of the final result. Solid 8/10 for the price point!

Great product and better than very famous brands

Love the color A LOT. It does not stay on very well at all. I was rather disappointed that it didn’t hold up as well as drug store brands. I bought this for an event and had to reapply within a few hours. I hadn’t done anything but chat a bit and drink water. So, pretty color but not a great product if you’re looking for longevity.

Love the formula for this one, the color was too close to my natural lip color for me to like but it will STAY PUT. It took a lot to get off. Love that. So, I'll be buying other colors

I have bought from this listing several times in the past and this is not what I expected to recieve. The formula is more liquidated, smells like perfume, comes in a smaller tube than I had recieved a few months ago, has an entirely different logo, and most importantly, burns. Albeit faint, I'm not someone who has allergies or sensitive skin, so it was concerning to say the least. As someone with sensory issues however, this lipstick was an absolute disappointment compared to what I had recieved my past few purchases. On top of it all, upon attempting to "make it work" this lipstick has mediocre coverage (based on multiple application attempts), transfers extremely easily, and takes over a minute to get properly dry, from which it is sticky and glossy— not matter at all. The previous formula was thicker, had better coverage, did not sting/burn my lips and only transfered *slightly* when my lips met a wet surface. I had seen other consumers complain about the applicator only when I checked back to the listing when receiving my package, as I realized something was wrong, and so I tried to swap the applicators hoping that issue wouldn't arise, only to find that the applicator for my newer one not only was too small to even fit in the given space, but my previous applicator was much too large to even try such a maneuver. If this were my actual lipstick, the one with the cursive logo, I would have given as many stars as possible. This product, however, hardly deserves half and does not live up to the expectations of the previous formula/tube. I will never be buying this product again.
