So glad this has the dauber! Our little pullet was trapped in a weird spot and attacked by the other hens, sadly she may be blind in both eyes as a result. When I initially found her, I thought she was dead, but she was very much alive, so I am nursing her back to health. The Red Kote is helping a ton more than Silvadene or Bag Balm to heal and regrow tissues on her sweet little mangled face. We love Red Kote & Blu Kote for our flock! Awesome quality products and they're reasonably priced for the volume of medicine you receive. Negative reviews are related to image and item description discrepancies but the item I received has a dauber, as described. Buy this item with confidence if your animal needs a wet type of tissue repair, buy the Blu Kote to dry things up, like thrush or bumblefoot. These products will stain, so don't medicate your pets on the white carpet lol

This is a great product, but sadly they changed the type of can it comes in. I got it for my dogs ear, but because the spray pattern is wide and not accurate its hard to use. Do not try to use this in the house unless you have a blanket to keep the carpet safe. It will stain your carpet bright red. I apply it to the inside of his ear, but I invariably get some on his body fur. Probably alright for a horses rump applied in a corral, but be forwarned if you intend to try to use this can to target a small area on your pet while inside the house. Not sure it will work for this purpose, but nothing else has been working either. I'll continue to use it and hope for the best.
