Don't Buy This Drone
Best feature: Price includes excellent hardcaseWorst feature: Not reliably controllableSummary: Don’t buy this drone.I set out looking for a decent $100 camera drone, and the specs on the HS260 looked just right. Unfortunately, this drone has so many problems that it’s just not usable, IMNSHO. Some of the highlights:1) This drone is so underpowered, it can’t get out of its own way. It wouldn’t stay in the air at the low power setting at all.2) The control linkage is squishy, with very high latency. You send a command from the RC, and the drone gets around to it…eventually…maybe.3) Since the rear light is used to both indicate recording and low power, you never know when the power is running low, if you record from the beginning. Sometimes, it won’t respond to commands to climb at all.4) The camera repeatedly stops recording, and has drop outs.5) The gimbal, while a cool feature, is extremely sticky, and unreliable. Once it got stuck.6) It feels flimsy in your hand. Not just light. Flimsy. The whole frame shakes when the motors start. It does have some of the best prop guards that I’ve seen. They attach easily and firmly, and they are very effective. Good thing, since it crashes a lot.I can’t recommend that anyone buy this drone. However, if you’re looking for a good camera drone in the $100 range, check out the Holy Stone HS110D. I’m sending the HS260 back, but the HS110D is definitely a keeper, which I’ll address in a separate review.

Great drone for the money
This is a great drone, and (unlike the other reviewer), I had no problem getting it airborne and keeping it there. That said, there are a couple of caveats; this little drone is fairly underpowered, so it won't get to insane altitudes. about 150 feet seems to be the ceiling (if you are lucky). Also, you MUST calibrate the rotors before flight. Otherwise, it will absolutely crash just trying to take off. Here is my pros and cons list for this little fella.Pros:Inexpensive.Good imagery; at high altitude, videos may get a little choppy.Robust; mine has been crashed a few times, and still works perfectly.Fairly fast (on fast mode).Extra battery and parts are definitely a welcome addition.Cons:Does not do well in wind... small/weak breeze is okay, but anything remotely gusty will have you chasing this thing.Low altitude.Manufacturer recommends taking breaks after 10-15 minutes of flight (to allow the rotor motors time to cool off). I burnt a motor out and they send me a new one... just a word to the wise to follow this instruction. All in all, I actually really like it. I would recommend it, if for no other reason than to get good at controlling drones. It is fast enough and responsive enough to be quite agile. If you are used to a more expensive drone, then I'd say, skip this one. If this is a first drone (like it was for me), however, it is a great place to start.
