Quick access to charge your phone!
I've been using this for over a year and it has held up nicely! It's does not retract but it simply holds your cable to your desired length. It stays out of sight so it helps me minimize the look of cables for a cleaner desk.

Confusing advertising!!
I received this device and now understand what it actually does (and does not do).The "Before" and "After" images in the ad are very misleading. The "Before" picture shows cords coming from the devices, running on top of the desk to the back, and then down the back wall. The "After" picture shows the phone cord coming around the front of the desk and then running underneath the desk and disappearing! The headphone cord will also come around the front of the desk when in use, but they hung them under the desk for the "After" image. The other end of this cord also disappears. Is it magic!!NO! Just misleading. If everything is the same except for the addition of two of these devices, the cords would still need to run down the back wall to the same power source as they do in the "Before" picture. So what are you actually purchasing? Basically a big bulky piece of plastic that will make it more of a hassle to retrieve your cords for use and then stow them away afterwards. You need to use two hands, one to feel around and find the spring loaded mechanism to release the tension off the cord so you can pull enough slack to have enough cord to reach your device. I think there may be rare occasions when this cable holder would work with one hand and that's when it's mounted extremely close to the edge of the desk and you can just pull the end from the press-fit holding mechanism and bring it to the top of the desk to reach a device that is also very close to the edge. Keep in mind, as soon as you need extra slack, you will likely see the cable draping down when you put the end back in the holder unless you go back to the two-handed option.I realize this may not all make sense if you do not have the unit in your hand, but hope it helps.

The slide button is kinda useless
The slide button is intended to allow you to retrieve a bit of cable at a time, however it does not work like this. Because the opening is at the bottom, the moment you push the button the whole cable falls out of the channel and you have to keep placing it back in. I wish more thought went into this mechanism.

Plastic cord thing
Based on the design. I thought this was a wheel that helps spindle the cord backwards. It's just a plastic thing with a cord pincher on one side.

Good for what it is designed to do.. Just make sure you know what that is
Ideally, this works best for a temporary charging cable. I myself was thinking that this was more of a retractable situation. In my head, I thought it would be neat to have a quick retractable cord to plug in a controller when I was gaming and then tuck it away when not. Unfortunately, this just isn't designed for that kind of accessory. The allocated cord length is a bit limiting for holding an using a controller in my experience. It works best as it is displayed in the imaging, plug in a phone to get a charge temporarily, then hide it away when you leave. I could see this being especially useful for a shared space or an office with a temporary desk that someone sometimes occupies. The actual construction feels a bit cheaper than I expected. Not flimsy, just more hollow. Setup is easy, and assuming you have a surface that 3M mounting tape adheres too properly, it shouldn't be much of a struggle. I was able to stick in place, allocate some cord and nest it into the channel. The retainer clips are necessary too to keep the cord from drooping down behind your desk depending on where they are connected. Overall, the design and implementation is good. It just wasn't quite as flexible as I wanted.I recommend watching the video and reading thoroughly before getting this. It works well as it is designed just make sure your use case matches up with its intended purpose. Although I won't be keeping this connected on my primary desk, I'm going to repurpose it to another area where charging is sometimes needed and a discreet cable would be more appropriate.

Unique and useful cord management mount design
This product includes the Quickdraw Under Desk Cord Management Mount, 2 cable mounting clips, and an alcohol wipe packet to clean up surfaces for the 3M adhesive of the the Quickdraw unit. After looking at the video, the installation was quick and the two 3M adhesive pads on the device has an extremely strong bond. My only problem is that I have a cable with braided cord and it's thicker than more normal cords. On the adjustable clip side of the product, the strong spring causes the clip to grip the cord too tightly and makes pulling the cord our to extend the reach a bit difficult. Great grip strength on the adjustable clip but a weaker spring maybe more user friendly. Others with normal and thinner cords may not have this issue. My problem was remedied by drilling a 3/16" hole at bottom of the lip of the adjustable clip and screwing in a 4-40 x ¼" screw to keep the clip from closing all the way. Now, I can tighten the screw to increase the gap from the clip and body to relieve the grip pressure on the cable. Overall, this a unique and useful product. I'll probably get more and give them out as gifts
