These are fantastic! From the strong motor to the linear speed adjustment with speed display to the clean and solid parts! Superb!Much much better than anything sold in stores in Canada, even when comparing costing 2 or 3 times more!

The laser sight is not intuitive and is difficult to zero, it works at one depth but not at another. The variable speed is awesome, no belts to switch around is a huge bonus. It is super straight and square right out of the box, and I am happy with the purchase. The Canadian price is almost double what my US friend paid, so it is cost prohibitive compared to other brands that would do the same thing. Once it arrives and the money is spent, it is a worthwhile purchase.

I bought this drill press, along with the WEN DPA2513 24x12 Drill Press Table, to go in my home workshop.My first impression was: for its price, it's a large drill press. It's 34" tall and weighs around 60 lbs.It also arrives unassembled, so be prepared to spend a while putting it together. It wasn't difficult to assemble, but I thought the instructions could have been a bit better...Once assembled, I went ahead and built a small workbench on which to permanently mount it.It has proven itself to be quite useful. It's easy to use and works great. I'm actually a bit surprised at how often I find myself going to it.For me, it was a really good deal for the price.
