These are my favourite day and night skincare products, which are available at the moment in this lovely gift box, in a size that makes it good value for money as well (but do a comparison before purchase as prices fluctuate all the time, albeit the box makes this even more special).The box is really pretty and substantial and can easily be put to good use for storage after using the contents. The products themselves are a lovely consistency and the creams are absorbed easily into skin to leave it feeling soft and hydrated. This is a lovely treat for your skin with the box adding a treat for the eyes/interior decor as well.Sure to be a hit if received as a gift.Update: I have recently purchased more as the set offers good value by comparison to buying the two 50ml jars separately.

Reaching my 50's I noticed my skin started to dry and my normal moisturiser was no longer up to the job. I read reviews and bought this in a black friday sale. Its amazing. It leaves my skin lookinh dewy and youthful

I've used this cream on and off for years now. Every time I start worrying about how expensive it is and go for something else, I always see the difference in my skin quite quickly and end up coming back to it. This pack of day/night cream was better value than buying single packs

I’ll start by saying that to my knowledge I have no previous experience with Elemis skincare.To be honest it’s fairly out of the price range that I feel comfortable with spending on skincare, so I literally jumped at the chance to be able to review this Elemis hydrating day & night cream duo. It’s the kind of luxury that I am so not used to, but could definitely be tempted into purchasing in the future if the quality matched up to the price point.My first impression based upon the packaging is that the set is very well presented- the box itself is eye catching and pretty, and would be something you’d feel happy at gifting to a loved one for a special occasion.The creams themselves are in super pretty containers that are clearly marked, easy to read and simple to access with twist tops that open with ease.Each cream contains 50ml of product, which for me would last probably at least a month as I tend to use creams sparingly on my skin to allow it to breathe.I found that the consistency of each cream is beautiful- just the correct amount of richness and doesn’t feel greasy at all.It sunk into my skin nicely and quickly without leaving residue.The scents are pleasant for each cream, nothing too loud or obnoxious at all.I can’t say to what affect the pro-collagen ingredient works as I’m assuming it’s something that you’d really notice over time, and I’ve only been using these creams for a little over a week or so.The only issue I can really find (and this is something which may or may not affect your thought process on purchasing beauty products) is that I can see nowhere on the containers nor outer packaging at all stating whether these items are cruelty free/tested on animals/etc which I’m assuming with no official seal of approval from animal rights foundations that they are not. Which is the absolute dealbreaker for me, I just wouldn’t line the pockets of a company that isn’t animal friendly.All in all these are wonderful creams but unfortunately the brand itself doesn’t seem ethical to me so I wouldn’t consider purchasing in the future. Your mileage may vary.

This is rich and creamy and smells divine!

I was introduced to this brand on a royal Caribbean cruise during my spa day 10yrs ago. It’s pricey but I have extremely sensitive skin and after trying everything on the market since I was 25 yes old this truly worked. I would never switch, I used the wash, toner and day & night moisturizers.

I love both the night and day creams. The are thick, but absorb really well. I use a toner, vitamin C oil then the moisturizer, I have been battling acne for a while and I see the scars starting to fade.

I guess after using Clinque for so long, I decided to treat myself to something that would really target my wrinkles and have read reviews about this. The product is great itself no denying, but I am not a fan of dewy feeling on my face, I like creams that absorbs and feels clean. Plus I'm not a big fan of having fragrance on my face either. If this product could make it lighter moisturizer that's not heavy feeling and no fragrance, they would have me...the product is still good, just not for me though.
