TERA PUMP Rechargeable Battery Powered Liquid Transfer - 15-20 inch Suction Tube, 2.85 GPM - 120 inch Hose with Easy Nozzle

My rain barrel is under my porch (a crawl space without easy access to electricity), and the barrel’s spigot is narrow, so getting rain water out of the barrel is slow and awkward. This rechargeable transfer pump makes water harvesting much faster and easier, reducing my exposure to ticks and mosquitoes. The pump was logical and easy to figure out. I was using it within three minutes. The only thing else I would want is a hole in the handle so I can tie the handle to something to ensure the pump does not slide into my deep 50-gallon rain barrel. I’m terrified of the pump accidentally unhooking and sliding into the barrel and short circuiting itself.

Anyone who has tried to fill a small lawnmower gas tank with a 5 gallon gas can, knows how easy it is to over-fill it and spill gas everywhere. This little device helps eliminate that problem. The fill nozzle is patterned after a typical gas pump. When one releases the trigger/handle, it stops the gas almost immediately. One is not left trying to negotiate a heavy fuel container. Being able to set the the fuel can safely on the ground, is a big plus. With it being rechargeable, one never has to hunt for fresh batteries.There are a few things that one needs to be aware of. For some unknown reason, the required USB charging cable is not included. I found that to be strange at this price point. Also the pump has to be switched On/Off, on the top of the dip tube portion of the pump. The nozzle trigger does not turn the pump On/Off when squeezed or released. That can be inconvenient when the fuel can is on the ground and one is up on a step, filling a taller machine. Overall it works well and does a good job,

I wanted to add an up-date after we used this product for a few months. The product is excellent, my only complaint is the silver tip falls off in the gas can frequently, I have had to fish it out numerous times. You need to be very careful and pull it straight out or it will come off. Other than the issue with the tip I would highly recommend this product as I love it and it has made filling my Jet Ski's so much easier.Until we bought this product we either had to use 5 gallon gas cans or find expensive water side gas to fuel our Jet Ski's everytime we used them. Now with the terapump we simply put the gas can's on a cart, wheel them out to the Jet Ski's on the dock and pump the gas in. This product works great and has saved us alot of needless work.

Works better then they said it would. needed to fill riding mower. charge it, followed there directions, did it in about the quarter of the time it would take pouring it in. And I did spill a drop of gasoline. It works so good I get excited thinking about the next time I use. It is easy to use, very quiet. well worth the money I paid for it.

Has a bad hose leaked gas everywhere. 1/2 inch from the pump. Can’t get replacement so 100 for junk.
