I've gone through quite a few brands of relaxer and none really worked as well as this one. It wasn't overly strong, it didn't sting, it smelled like a relaxer does so that wasn't a big deal, and it left my hair very soft after rinsing and wasn't dry or wiry the next day. Definitely going to buy again. I used to spend $80+ every four - six months getting my roots touched up and now I do it myself. Get some of those hair painting brushes used for dying hair to help keep the mess down. I followed the instructions but in the end did it my own way since I only do my roots there was enough left over for me to do it about one more time. If you're doing your entire head, I'd say just this one box will do it but you'd have to buy a second box to redo your entire head again. If you have long hair aka past your shoulders, then I'd get two of these.

Good product. Pay attention to the instructions. Make sure to add vasaline to the exposed skin around your forehead and go a little more into the scalp area there as well to prevent skin burns. Otherwise this product does exactly as expected.

Back in February I ordered this as well as the Dark and Lovely Healthy Gloss 5 Moisture shampoo and conditioner and have not receiver any of my order or any response to any of the request to I sent via Email or calling. The phone number is out of service.
