I’m still on the fence about how much I like these. It’s a good non-obnoxious size for the square feet it covers. I mainly got it to help with my 100sqft room where I’m fostering a mom cat and her kittens. Kitten food and a litter box shared by 4 cats in this room size can be overwhelming. It definitely is better than nothing but does not eliminate odors like I expected for only asking it to perform in such a small area. It’s fairly quiet except the high setting. It has all the options you’d need as far as timing and auto mode etc. I have to assume the air quality is better since it has a high end filter. For the price I think it’s a good buy. My mom let me borrow her GT-3000 air purifier which took away the smell of litter boxes for 4 cats in our large basement within 2 hours. Not even on max level but it’s $1000. So you get what you pay for.

How beautiful! It is so quiet! I love feeling the clean air flow coming from it! Smells and feels so fresh! The little green light is so reassuring! It's just perfect!

PUROAIR 400 air purifier I bought the PUROAIR air purifier bundle, 1 400 model cleans 2000sq feet in 1 hour and 2 model 240’s that clean 1000 sq feet in 1 hour. My home is 3 stories counting half finished basement, we live in the country, burn wood, have 2 dogs, farm fields dust and road dust. I needed something to help with dust, allergens, pet dander and anything else floating around I cannot see. This 400 model cleans 99.9% of the air of any of those pollutants. So far, my house smells cleaner, dog odor is gone, dust is way less and within 1 hour my daughter commented the air smells cleaner and fresher. So I am sold, cannot wait to see the difference in the winter with the house all closed up with wood furnace running!! Great product and I wanted one for a while now, I noticed the difference at my daughter’s house who is using these. Noise level is less than a box fan, actually pretty quiet on 1st and 2nd fan setting, weight is 14.73lbs for the bigger 400 model. It has a timer, child lock, an automatic setting and an indicator how bad or good your air is as it runs. Make sure you remove the tape to open filter door and plastic off filter before use. Now my only complaint, the area/fins to suck in the bad house air is on the back and you have to set it out and away from walls/items. I turned mine backwards so it has plenty of room to suck in the air. Good cleaned air comes out the top. Now…. I know the designer wanted a pretty, sharp, clean designed front for cosmetic home look…. But I would rather have it more functional and easier to place in my home and work great. Rather than be pretty and hard to locate an ideal working space. My only complaint! Yeah, I know a Woman seldomly only has 1 complaint… wink! The 240 models suction air around the unit and are smaller, lighter and quiet.

These units are very quiet and I love that it has a timer so you can’t set it for 2, 4, 6 & 8 hrs. They also look good and are not too big. My allergies are much better. I put one upstairs and downstairs.

I purchased one of these and as a test kept it running on one side of my room, with a different brand of air purifier that I already own running on the opposite side of my room (with a brand new air filter in that one too to keep this test fair). Because of my dust allergies I dust multiple times a week and I dusted my entire room beforehand to observe the accumulation of dust with this air purifier running. The side of my room with this PuroAir purifier in it had noticeably less dust on surfaces than the other side of my room, which has a more expensive, more “name brand” air purifier that is supposed to help keep dust and air pollutants at bay. I observed this after only two days where I still didn’t see any visual dust on the PuroAir side of the room, and twice as much dust on the other side of the room already that had the other air purifier running. The air in my room feels fresher but visually it’s quite obvious that this purifier is removing more dust, pet dander, and air pollutants than the other purifier that I’ve owned for years. Depending on durability I will likely be purchasing the larger PuroAir purifier in the near future for the larger living area in my house, based on the overall performance of the Puroair 240 thus far. I purchased this when it was on sale and I am happy with the purchase so far. Setup and assembly was also very simple and easy.
