Yes, it does when it's connected with serato software or when you're using USB. For CD'S only van play mp3 files.

Recommend you contact Numark Tech support. I have the same issue (if it is an issue) each time I turn it on, but the player works normally afterward.

Q: Can you load tracks from your laptop and what you need to get the songs?

I have a pair and they can run and load tracks from your laptop (or USB, CD, etc). I can only confirm that they will work with Serato DJ Pro as that's what I use. You are basically using them as controllers so they work seamlessly with Serato.

Q: Can u connect this to dm1200 preamp/mixer?
