This is my favorite party game whether drunk or sober. I usually GM this with a crowd of 10-20 people.DO NOT BUY THIS EDITION THOUGH. Look for the Ultimate Werewolf Deluxe Edition.It has more cards than this edition and better Wolves and Villager Cards for less or same price. I accidentally bought this edition and ended up having to buy the BONUS ROLES DLC Pack to make up for the mistake. (Still reccomend the Bonus Roles Box with the Deluxe Edition. If possible)This game is the perfect pick up game people can learn in 3-5 mins from an experienced GM and people will learn to develop team synergy and high IQ plays as the game develops and new roles are introduced. Many memories in the Service as well with this game. Many deployments and months on end playing this with my Sailors out at sea. Voices were lost. Laughs were shared. And many friends were made.

At times it can be hard to find a group (minimum 6 people if you want some semblance of a complete game). That said, this is a personal favourite, my niece's and nephews love it and we have played with under the recommended minimum on multiple occasions. I have played this at work on an outing, I have taken multiple copies to a convention and run a game with 97 people at the same time. This is a hidden roles game with a good amount of variety and so much replayability. Pretend to be whoever you want, just don't get caught being the werewolf.

The whole family loves to play this game. We love board games but this is our favorite, would definitely recommend.

I have been a fan of Werewolf and Mafia style games for a long time now. Ultimate Werewolf Extreme is easily the best version of any of those games! The art is amazing, the variety of roles is vast, and the quality is top notch! I love the addition of the Ivory Tower, which let's the first person eliminated be protected in the next game! Also, the QR codes on the back make it a breeze to manage your group using the app!

If you like deception and discussing and a good leader you'll do just fine with all sorts of roles to make your own game

This game is a staple for game nights! My work friends come over and we all play! It’s always a hit and a great time! It’s pretty much the definition of gaslighting but in the most fun way Lolol

It was good entertainment for 20+ people

The game itself is great fun, and this is the best version to own in my opinion (as of Spring 2024).That said… it’s incredibly frustrating to know that Bezier has published this game multiple times and yet there are still so many things that could be improved. To start, the instructions are still atrocious. They are not well written for new players to learn the game, and they lack the clarifying details that you’d want and expect to see for the many cards with unique abilities.Then there are design details like the box not being able to close all the way because the tower token is too large to fit in the box. Or the fact that the QR codes on the card backs are far and away the most challenging QR codes I’ve ever tried to scan. Unsure if it’s an issue with the app, but I suspect it’s because the color contrast between the QR and the background is minimal and the cards are very glossy creating a glare that’s hard to escape.The app is the best part of this newest edition. It’s helpful with keeping the nighttime order correct when you have many unique characters in a game. But this app isn’t quite fully baked. The UX could be smoother. The QR scanning mentioned above is very difficult. The photo part should just let you snap a photo instead of forcing you to wait for it to detect a face and take it for you. It takes forever to actually start a game after dealing out the role cards.I will play this game a ton and love every play. But it’s similar to Terraforming Mars where the game is awesome but every time I pull it out, I think about what a shame it is that the production quality is so poor.
