Not your father's Wheeljack
First off, the Transfomers Prime version of Wheeljack is not the Wheeljack of old. Think less engineer, more ninja. If you're familiar with the comic-book-only Transformer, Drift, Prime Wheeljack's concept seems to be an amalgam of the car, head, and color styling of G1 Wheeljack with the weapons and personality of Drift (or perhaps Transformers Animated Prowl). If you are familiar with the Transformers Prime cartoon, this new-concept Wheeljack will come as no surprise. Vehicle Mode: Wheeljack's vehicle form is a futuristic sports car, hinting a bit of his G1 Lancia Stratos body. It sports the same white/red/green color scheme as his classic G1 Alitalia trim, and is quite attractive overall. Transformation: Wheeljack's transformation is complex enough that I needed to check the instructions to perform it for the first time, with some clever transforming sections involving a combination of sliding, rotating, and swiveling for both the arms and legs. Children under age 10 would probably need assistance transforming him. Robot Mode: Wheeljack's robot form is excellent, conveying the lean and aggressive warrior personality of Prime Wheeljack. Arms and legs are very poseable, and there isn't too much kibble left over from the transformation (the most obvious are the windshield segments under the arms). The ball-sockets for the shoulders, hips, head, and feet allow a wide range of movement, although the elbows and knees are simple elbow joints. Accessories: Wheeljack includes a pair of curved swords - almost a cross between a katana and a saber - that fit easily in his hands. They are long and fairly sturdy, and store on the bottom of his vehicle chassis or attach to the front bumper as a rather awkward-looking vehicle weapon. In robot mode, the swords can be held in his hands, up or down, connected to his shoulders for storage, or sheathed in slots between his shoulders and wings. Overall: This is a fantastic Transformers toy. It feels solid, features an excellent and attractive vehicle and robot mode, and can be placed in somewhat dynamic poses. Although it is a departure from the crackpot inventor and engineer Wheeljack of G1 Transformers, this aggressive warrior Wheeljack of Transformers Prime pays enough homage to the original design to make it a worthy addition to anyone's Transformers collection.

My Wheeljack - Prime
I'm a transformers toys collector, only autobots, only one model of each character. So i was looking for a while for one wheeljack, and except the alternator class, this is the one that i like. This is my first "Transformers Prime" series toy, and i have to say that i like so much the toys shape, but i don't like some parts of the figures, where you can see empty spaces without reason or use, i think this is for Hasbro to use less plastic in the figures. Now about the wheeljack, first of all i love the transformation that is very fun and smart (not for little childrens). The colors are just right, and the shape is so good, plus he is very articulated. He is a little small, but not so much to worry about it. The good: the shape, the colors, the transformation. The bad: a little small, the empty spaces in the mold. In vehicle mode, from 1 to 10 i should say 8 In robot mode, from 1 to 1 i should say 8 In overall he is a solid 8. A good figure for every collector.

Good figure for collectors and kids alike
The Transformers: Prime toyline was a decent, even good, toyline, and its figures struck a nice balance between being accurate to the show and being fun and easy to play with -- poseable, with good transformation sequences. Wheeljack is a great example of this -- he looks very close to his in-show self, poses nicely, and transforms well, and looks nice in both his vehicle mode and his robot mode. Like most masked characters, Wheeljack's toy is sculpted with his mask in place -- this despite the fact that he went maskless most of the time in the show. Also, I find it a weird design choice to fix his swords to his bumper in his vehicle mode, as he had nothing like that in the show. But that's a personal quibble, honestly. Otherwise this is a good figure, and good for collectors and kids alike.

Fantastic Deluxe Transformer! Must buy for any fan of the Prime series.
Both Wheeljack and Dead End (Repaint) I purchased recently. Some transformers are not always the most sturdy when transformed. These guys are fantastic, dont know why i waited so long to pick them up but glad I did. These are very well designed. Pro's: - Easy to Transform - Sturdy - Show accurate - Very articulated for easy posing! - Durable paint jobs I just love them. Get them if you are even on the fence. You wont regret it.

Great design, fit and finish.
This is probably one of the best Transformers I have bought with my son. The fit and finish of this item is excellent. It doesn't have a cheap plastic wiggly feel, everything is smooth and solid. It is somewhat complicated to the point where my 5 year old can't really get all of it, but that is not really a big issue to me. Gives him a challenge. It has several locations for storing the swords which I thought were pretty neat. As a mechanical engineer, I found the design intriguing and well thought out.

Amazing!
So I began watching Transformers a few weeks ago and Wheeljack was one of my favorite characters and after I saw this toy I knew I had to have it. Bought it here instead of at Walmart or Target so I could save some money and just had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to receive my item (much sooner than the estimated time!) The toy itself is very show accurate and has nice poseability. Glad I bought this item and hope there's more like him to come.

Fell apart.
The product broke withing five minutes of opening it. My grandson was so exited when i ordered this toy. He had picked it out on the comuter and waited for it to come in. when it did he opened in and it broke within five minutes. So I had to listen to him cry because he could not play with it.

LOVE IT
This is a very awesome, detailed Transformers. I love it so much. The transformation is kinda complex. The size is about the size of an average man's hand in vehicle mode, and about twice the size in robot. You really do get a good character with the money.
