TBH an insulated dog bowl doesn't make much sense, but as a heavy bowl that my dog can't tip over or push around these are great.

I was tired of the stainless steel water bowls for my cats getting pitted and unable to be wiped clean. These bowls have been great. We’ve had one for a few months before buying a second one, and it is still as smooth and easy to clean as the day we bought it. Highly recommend if you are tired of bowls that never seem clean after washing them..

It works like it's supposed to.

This is a very nice water bowl, however it doesn’t keep the ice “icy” all day like a tall insulated mug. My golden doodle loves ice and ice water, I give this a 4 stars because it is not insulated as well as a tall mug.
