One of the plugs had a stripped screw that couldn’t be tightened to hold the wire. When I tried it fell apart. These plugs work but are mediocre in quality.

2nd one I put up , no problem with terminal torque , expanded customer about tamper resistance oso i don't get call back, glad i can find this tape of gfi at a good price that i can mark up.

Just ok, 3 out of the 4 worked. One shorted as it was being wired. One also had a stripped screw and was difficult to install. Where's the QC?

Several issues with these.First, the terminals appears to be very poorly made. Be careful how you tighten or loosen them, because they are held in by a thin piece of aluminum that will strip out very easily. The documentation recommends 14 ftlb torque, but I wouldn't exceed 8. Use a gentle touch, or you will destroy the terminal.Second, it's huge. Just barely fits in a standard receptacle box with ~2mm clearance. If you are using metal boxes, that might be an issue due to the possibility of shorting one of the terminals against the box.The tamper proofing seems to depend on the plug geometry. Some plugs won't unlatch it, which means you aren't plugging those devices into the GFCI.I'm honestly not sure what "weather resistant" means in the product description. I don't see any gaskets or water resistant functions, nothing that would keep water out. I would not trust this in any external environment without a waterproof enclosure.Overall, good price, but feels like the build quality isn't there.

Terminal screw stripped out when you tightened it. Tamper resistant feature made it difficult to impossible to plug anything into outlet.

Used for 1 month only, one of them is at fault and stop working, another one red link blink / flash more often less than 40secs than the other ( so call self-testing function ).Very hard to plug any thing to the outlet.Save your money and buy brand name one from your local hardware store.

ANKO GFCI Outlet 15 Amp 4 Pack3 out of the 4 outlets were defective. I installed 3 different outlets in one spot. First gave a green light to indicate that the wiring was OK. Within a few hours it shut off. I reset it and again in a few hours it shut off.When I replaced it with the 2nd one, it gave a green light. Then I noticed that it flashed a red light every few minutes - while the green light was still on???? The 3rd one didn't work at all!Don't buy this product.Unfortunately I am not able to return items because I did not install them within 30 days of purchase.
