Q: What was the solution to the channel has visible roughness that will cause the instrument to give false readings?

I haven’t experienced any roughness in the channel. I use mine exclusively for determining the fineness of the chocolate I’m grinding in a stone grinder in order to make handcrafted chocolates. Depending on the percentage of cocoa butter to ground cocoa beans it takes anywhere from 30 to 48 hours to get it ground properly. This instrument has taken the guess work out and helped me develop velvety handcrafted chocolates.
