I think it would work fine.....it work fine in the coffee maker you just don't use as much Chicory. I use only about two tablespoons of the Chicory and do the whole pot in the coffee maker. About a third as much chicory as I use coffee. You will have to experiment yourself on how much to use in the french press just remember the chicory is stronger.

Hello. There are 3-3.5 cups of chicory root in a one pound bag. To make a cup to drink you need approximately 1-2 tablespoons of chicory root (depending on the taste you desire). Thank you.

No you can't. This is not instant granules, it is like a course coffee. I make it with my Keurig.

I don’t know what a k-cup machine is. I use about a teaspoon of chicory in a tea ball (a small sphere of screen-like ball for brewing loose tea) and pour boiling water over it inside a cup, stir and dunk it up and down a few times, and remove it from the cup. The tea ball is a “reusable filter.” The chicory does not melt. The hot water extracts the flavor out of the granules, just like coffee grounds. Try it in your k-cup machine. Experiment. Enjoy.
