Fit is too small/tight...oddly sized for kids

This shirt was very, very small and tight. It seems as though the designer did not take into account that very young children have big tummies...it was cut extremely slim for a small child. My daughter is a slim 3T and sometimes 2T at age 3, and at only 30th percentile for growth for her age we have never had a situation where an item of clothing in her size was too small before. In general it was cute, although poorly designed/sized for children.
