Looks cheap in person, is really light weight. Not too bad tho. As long as it works it's fine. I've been looking for a soap dish for a while now and thought about it too much and decided to try this one. Did not want a metal one because I don't want to deal with rust. Love the way the wood ones look but don't want to toss it after a few months of water exposure. I don't believe wood would hold up with constant contact to water. Got bronze color of these and it's not bad. Both by bathroom sink. Easy enough to take apart to drain. I got this one because the soap sits more away from the water than some other options...but honestly idk if the slits in the plastic are enough yet. Will soon find out. May change to three stars if the design doesn't drain enough to keep the bar soap well...Edit: These are cheap they work enough. Wouldn't buy again.

Searched forever for these in oil rub bronze color for our shower. I feel better knowing if they fall, they will not break. Highly recommend over glass items.

I like this soap dish. I was looking for something in the shower that wouldn't break if dropped or damage the tub if dropped. It is not slip resistant but I have no problem with it staying on the shelf. You need to separate the top from the bottom to completely drain the water which is a bonus (for me) because I don't want soapy water draining/running down the tub. Fits a regular bar of soap nicely.
