Q: What size is best for 32 - 33 in waist?

I would say small unless you plan on gaining weight LOL I’m a 34” waist and I wear a medium, but I have to use the smallest setting on the waistband. I could wear a small, but I have been putting on a few pounds recently.

Q: a size 36-38 pants what size is best to buy

I have a 36 inch waist and I ordered a large and it fits fine. The utility kilts have buckles and Velcro so they are adjustable up and down a few inches. They also have belt loops to accommodate a belt as well. They should fit a 38 inch waist no problem. I’m very happy with the purchase of this kilt. FYI they also have deep pockets for a flask if needed for the occasion!
