*update* It's been only two weeks since I purchased these headphones and with normal use the wiring of the headphone jack is already shot. Sound comes out of only one headphone at a time or not at all. Totally unuseable! Don't waste your money on this super cheap product.I have been using a pair of these headphones for about a week. I use them while commuting on a train. Here're the pros and cons:Pros:1) Less than half the price of typical in-ear noise-cancelling headphones.2) They have been very helpful with noise-cancelling, even loud train sounds, but I haven't used other noise-cancelling headphones so I can't compare.3) Haven't needed to replace the AAA battery yet.Cons:1) The headphones themselves are very slightly bulkier and heavier than the in-ear headphones I'm used to. I think this is a normal trade-off for noise-cancelling capabilities.2) The headphones come with a battery pack for power, but they can also be plugged directly into a mini-usb or iphone power jack via a mini-usb-to-iphone converter. Unfortunately, after a couple of days the plug no longer worked in my iphone 6 even if I jiggled it around. So I bought a new mini-usb-to-iphone converter but it still doesn't work. In the end I am forces to use the battery pack which is pretty annoying.

Only a small issue with these earbuds: if the noise cancelling is turned on while the device you're listening to is also charging you'll hear a buzzing noise in the background. If you keep your finger on the metal button it goes away, or if you stop charging your device. Otherwise it's a good product.

Great sound, and interesting option to plug in to make ttem bluetooth. Very nice.

great product. It really filters a lot of the low frequency noise, like drums and airplane engines.Make a huge impact in hair driers noise!!!Will not be this effective with high frequency sound, including human voices.Excelent cost x benefit anyway!

The battery, instead of being integral to the phones, hangs like a heavy dead appendage. It's unwieldy, and more than aggravating. The noise cancelling is only fair, with airplane noise only moderately muted and voices essentially not at all.

Broke after 2 months of use. Do not get it.

They work great

After only a few months of moderate use the wiring is shot and sound only comes out of one earbud. Noise cancelling seems only moderately effective. The additional battery unit is a debatable design decision.
