Listening to Bible in a year and love using this chart to see where I’m at.

Very nicely done charts that helps put dates and times in order concerning general Biblical information and events and has a decent comparison to other events of the world. This is a BIG book like chart that will fold out about 24" or so, but you can simply turn the folds like pages from either the front side or back of the long chart. It isn't exhaustive of course, but it will get you to close starting points concerning the various types of information covered. Great for family use, Sunday School classes and casual home Bible reading and study. I like to use it to put into perspective the comparison of when certain OT books were written as it relates to other OT books and events.For the ease of use and the information, you will be hard pressed to beat the price.

This is more a giant poster than a book. The format is incredibly unwieldy, but the production is magnificent, and at a very cheap price. Most of the information for the first 2000 years is, shall we say, dated, but its good fun to look at.Ideal for young-earth Creationists who think that the Flintstones is a documentary. For the rest of us, a testament to 19th century graphics in all its glory, and well-worth buying for its curiosity value.

This book is an excellent home school or home bible school resource. Its one page about 28' long folded in a zig-zag manner. It folds out so you can see all the people mentioned in the bible in a timeline. It also shows cultures, and nations and other facts so each page is chalk full of great details. So when your trying to teach the genology of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the 12 brothers and grand children, this helps little minds put it all together. I own both this book and the book of World History. The world history is the same as this one but also take history from the first century to present time. These books are rated on many lists as being the top 10 home school resources; they're that good.

I really like this time chart, it's loaded with information and would make a great must have addition to a church small group. I first found out about this book when my wife bought me one from the Milwaukee Wisconsin Public Museum in May of 2010 where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display until June 6 2010. My wife bought me the book there for $20 and I liked it so much I wanted to buy some for friends. Since we live in Illinois and did not was to drive to Milwaukee, I decided I'd look on Amazon to see if I could find it and of course I did and even cheaper! The way this book folds out 12 feet or more is not only very useful but very impressive too. This book is well worth the money.
