Can you pair the headset to a different Bluetooth speaker or does it only work with the one it comes with?

The headset is wired, not Bluetooth. The amplifier is Bluetooth and can connect to phone, tablet, etc.

What is the max Db output?

I don't have my owner's manual with me but, it probably is in the 85 to100+ Db range. I am a field technical trainer. I am usually training in a large warehouse environment with loud printing devices around me. I hook the amplifier to my belt just over my right pocket. It gets the job done with ease. I highly recommend this amplifier for industrial use. The battery life is incredible. My training sessions last about 8 hours. Generally, the unit will only discharge down to about 75% remaining.
