Good for heavy extruder/direct drive with caveats
I used this to upgrade an Ender 3v2 which has been fitted with an E3D Hemera. The kit itself is fine, it's easy to fit by following the inatruction video, takes about half an hour if you're quick. My one gripe with fitting this to an Ender 3v2 is the torque. It's not a fault of the kit exactly, but because it splits the signal/power between two motors, torque drops a lot. In practice, what this means is that when the motor is engaged, you can still spin it by hand making it skip steps, with very little effort.Although this seems not to cause any real issues, it does mean there is a risk of skipping on the Z and that can result in failed prints. There is a lot of talk online about adjusting your Z axis VREF, that will NOT work on the Ender 3v2, because Z VREF is already at its limit from the factory, it can't safely be increased much. I tried increasing it .4V with no effect; bear in mind it's the current and not the voltage which affects torque, and we're increasing current as a side effect of increasing voltage.Overall I'd say it was worth the purchase, the Hemera is a heavy beast and this makes everything more level, I'll keep an eye out for a solution for the torque problem.I paid £39 in July 2021, set your expectations based on that price.

Great improvement in quality
Had a few issues installing this due to the fact I have an IDEX kit and Z braces installed. Not a problem with the kit, just all the other bits in the way! Once fitted it has definitely got rid of the wandering height of right hand side of the x axis. Previously you could notice the RHS 'following' the LHS driven end. Prints are now coming off looking almost as if they are moulded rather than FDM.I have a BTT SKR board and I'm just waiting for a dedicated Z axis cable for the second stepper, although the board seems to be coping at the moment.I'd seriously recommend this bit of kit- this and the z brace make a world of difference!

Not bad but manual needed for beginners.
Would have preferred a written manual pdf is fine, as the video qr code didn't work and when I got to see it the guy in it is rushing I'm ok with that but beginners would constantly be rewinding. With regards to the product itself it's fine no problems yet installed and working, bed leveling is much quicker and less z banding but tweaks needed.Overall I am satisfied and happy with the value too.

Good Upgrade
Would highly recomend this upgrade - Didn't even need the video skimmed through you will find extra parts you don't need on an Ender V2 as the nuts I used the existing nuts on the printer - 20 mins up and running well worth it and very happy so far. I did look at the cable and was worried how to fit but realised it fits in the exsisting cable socket extending the cable to both stepper motors finished off with a bit of greese for the scew thread and all up and running.

Works great
I had one of the cheaper dual z axis conversions - that uses a belt to drive the second axis but I still kept getting problems with it stickingI am now using both, so have dual motors and the belt to sync themIt works flawlessly, no more uneven layers and no more z axis sticking on my ender 3 V2
