CamelBak Mini M.U.L.E. Kids 50oz Hydration Reservoir Hike and Bike Backpack

These CamelBak for kids are a godsend! We are an incredibly active family, and while on hikes or bike rides, my kids want to have access to *easy* water. Forget water bottles - they wanted what daddy had! I purchased 2 and they fit both my 7 year old (who is the size of a 4 year old) and my 11 year old! They comfortably sit on their backs and they don’t cause any rubbing at all. They don’t weigh a ton, and are easy for my kids to carry on their own. The color is to die for - it’s perfect for gender neutral! The bag also opens up and can store some snacks (and let’s be honest - a pop it or three), along with the bladder of water. We have adult Camelbaks, so we knew we could trust the brand. I ended up getting them on sale for about 50% off, and it was worth EVERY penny! I’d definitely recommend grabbing one of these for your active kiddo! They will stop stealing our water and have their own! :)

Our daughter is in a mountain biking class and this has allowed her to stay on the trails during class to hydrate rather than leave class to get water, be thirsty on a trail ride or just complain about being thirsty! She is 5 and this fits her well! Even our three year old son loves to wear it every now and then and surprisingly it fits him decently! Good quality and size for a kid

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We don’t do a lot of hiking and I don’t have much experience to compare this to. I chose this one because my son loved the flame on it. It works perfect and he loved wearing it, being able to be hands free and stay hydrated. No complaints of weight or discomfort. It was the perfect size for our hikes with room to add a few small snacks and toys. Seems durable easy to fill. Relatively easy to clean. Is there a quick way to dry these out?? I’ll need to google bc I was nervous about it getting moldy while in our suitcase traveling home. Child in photo is 54”, size 8.

These are quality. This one was for my 2 yr old grandson. There’s a little learning curve to the sucking motion for a child this young, but it doesn’t take long for them to get the hang of it. I purchased 3 more for my slightly older grandchildren, and they love them. They’re adjustable so they fit comfortably on the kids. No leaks.

The backpacks are great for little going on hikes. They love having their own water and snacks. HOWEVER, the initial bladders on both packs leaked. Camelbak does have a lifetime warranty as long as the seller is amazon or camelbak. We got replacements with different valves on them and they work perfectly.

Pack is a good size for our 4 year old. Camelbak brand is notorious for leak issues and this isn’t any better. The screw cap is difficult to close correctly and even harder to get the air out of it. The tubing was leaking as well so had to cut off the bottom inch of tubing and reconnect. Like osprey system better

Perfect for my 6 year old grandson. Quality item. I have a couple different sizes myself and they still work defects. It will be great for him to have his own camelbck this winter for skiing! Then he can pack his own snacks and H2O. LOL!

I purchased this for my daughter to take on our trip to Grand Canyon. Delivery was quick, and it was perfect as her travel backpack. But upon filling the hydration pack with water on our first hike, it leaked EVERYWHERE, all over the car, her clothes, and everything inside was soaked. When I inspected it, the tube had disconnected from the bladder, and no amount of pushing it back on would make it stay leak free. Whatever glue was used didn't hold for even a day. I contacted the seller and they first tried to brush me off to Amazon, when that didn't work they tried to push me to Camelbak, even though it is the seller's responsibility to uphold the lifetime warranty and replace faulty products. After that, they simply said they couldn't help. So now I'm stuck with a faulty product...I am so disappointed in the sellers lack of responsibility, especially knowing that they still sell these Camelbaks, they could easily replace it for me but they just don't care. Would NOT recommend buying from them.
