Damaged good - poor quality control.
I bought 2 one for my sister. She had hers fitted straight away & it looks & works very well. Mine was stored safely and fitted later. The undamaged box was opened by the electrician and fitted but the fan does not work. He discovered that it was broken in several places. By that time I really needed a light over the cooker and could not face having it taken down & returned. So it looks lovely, illuminates my cooker perfectly but does not work as a fan. I know if I had sent it back I would have been supplied with a replacement but life is too short!
