Cost effective solution for temperature reading.
We had a 'similar' weather station for many years, where the outdoor sensor finally gave up; & of course the device had since become obsolete. New old stock sensors when available where incredibly expensive.We found this complete weather station, for less than half the price of each of just one of the old sensors !Arrived quickly, & really easy to set up.We've fitted x3 Lithium AAA batteries rather than Alkaline, on the outside sensor. It’s placed in our porch, which is directly underneath our Town House living room; so no more than 30 feet between the two, and that has been working fine for at least 8 weeks.Pretty happy with it so far to be honest !

No fuss, easy to read and set up.
A small indoor / outdoor thermometer that is very easy to get going.You just need to put 2xAA batteries in the controller and sensor, and it should start up and pair pretty much immediately. There's a setting on the sensor to choose channel 1, 2 or 3 so you can have three going at any one time.You need set the time and date which is comparatively easy and it's ready to go. There's a hole to hang the control unit from (the same as one on the sensor) and it has a stand as well. No buttons on the front but a small one on top illuminates the display or cancels the alarm. The alarm and light means it can be used as a bedside clock, which makes it better value.Outside sensor isn't waterproof, so I've got mine in the bubble wrap it came in and it seems to work quite well, if slightly slower to react. It needs to be under cover and out of direct sunlight to operate properly.The display is big and clear and I honestly can't fault it.

Worked first time.
Great value for money with 3 sensors. Sensors had their own screens. Easy to set up all the sensors. Two are used indoors and one is outdoors in the shade. Connection to the sensors has not dropped since set up. The humidity and temperature for each sensor are displayed in rotation on the home screen which I have located near the rear door of our home. The display is large and clear with a bright backlight. A great product.

does work well but difficult to read
This is an accurate system but all images on screen are difficult to read and you have to press little buttons to get all the readings. Not suitable for wrinklies!

Weather station
It does not include an indication of the weathere.g. rain, sun.Apart from that it's function is satisfactory.I may purchase a further weather station in due course.
