This is a quality knife block that looks great and has strong magnets that hold very well, a great solution for minimizing counter space from the traditional bulky knife block. We have extra heavy knives and this magnetic block holds them with ease. The magnet is very strong and disbursed throughout the entire surface so that there are no weak spots on both sides of the board. As some other reviewers have noted, we did have a slight issue with the pre-drilled holes not lining up exactly for the holding bracket to sit completely in it’s designed place leaving a small gap along the front edge, but still fastens flush with the rest of the base so not a major deal. The seller reached out after purchase to ask if there were any issues, and when I told them about the slight defect with these holes they were extremely polite and great to work with, and offered to send me a 2nd replacement free of charge. They really stand behind their product quality and service. As seen in the picture, it can fit 3 very large knives on each side (those in my picture are butcher knives that didn’t even fit in my old cutting block), and could definitely fit 4-6 smaller knives, so it should fit most standard 6-10 piece knife sets. I would highly recommend purchasing this block if you are looking for something nice and space reducing for your knife collection, or for larger butcher knives like mine that don’t fit a normal block.

The metal part of the stand came with some of the paint chipped off (on an area that you would be able to see after assembled) and some scuff marks. For the price, I expected it to look pristine. Asked for a replacement part, will update review when the new one is delivered. Edit: Replacement came, parts were all perfect. Holds up my set of 4 knives great, I was scared it would be wobbly with the weight but it’s nice and sturdy. Would definitely recommend!

Solid construction with a very strong magnet. What a great way to display showpiece knives.

This knife holder is great. Holds the knives used the most and does not take up a lot of room on the counter top. Magnets are strong but not to the point the stand moves when you pull a knife off. Looks nice too.

I didn’t realize this needed assembly but was very easy. Great product works as intended.

Love the quality. Went together really well. No problems with the screws or holes. It even holds my knives still in their case. I recommend this to anyone needing their knives off of the counter or out of their bag. Conventional wall magnet doesn’t work in my apartment.

Great quality and has a perfect amount of magnitism. Very stable if you draw the knife up. A good way to protect your knives and keep them handy.

The product requires a DYI assembly but 2 out 3 holes on the base were misaligned with the metal piece??? I needed to redo the holes myself. Also the base has no rubber pads and it’s very sleek. It slides on the kitchen bench top. I needed to improvise with some silicone studs to make it work. After all the hassle the stand worked and has a strong magnet for the knives but c’mon, at this price point I should have return it!

I really love this. I looked at many magnet knife boards which were much cheaper but this is classy for the Japanese knives. The workmanship is great. Eventually I will get their knives set for now it’s a classy display in the kitchen!
