An excellent choice
I'm just making the transition to traditional woodworking using only hand tools. I only had one card scraper. It was an old Stanley brand that I have had for about 40 years. I wanted some in different thicknesses. These appear to be of excellent quality. I haven't had a chance to use these yet but being a machinist, I can say that the steel looks to very good. I I like the finish on the steel. It appears to have a surface treatment of some sort. Not quite a blued finish, but holds an oil coating well. I always oil all of my tools before storing them to prevent corrosion and the surface on these scrapers accept and hold a coating of gun oil well.

recognize there is a learning curve associated with scraping with them AND sharpening/burnishing. plan on practicing some.
these work great out of the box, but I am not sure if i am sharpening/burnishing them effectively.

Card scrapers will tempt you to never buy sandpaper again.
I love this variety pack. Different thicknesses allow me to have different aggression in different scenarios. It’s also pretty nice to have so many at a time so that you don’t have to re sharpen in the middle of a project. Almost dead square edges when I took them out of the box. Just a few passes on the edges at a high grit and then turned my edge. It’s mildly soft steel so don’t go turning your burr with a file or even a very heavy burnisher. Just hold the card in one hand and your burnisher in the other and slide it a few times. Great cards!

Five Stars
Blades work very well, especially for the price.

Good quality
These are good quality, although I don't think I'll ever use the thinner ones.
