NATIERRA Organic Freeze-Dried Bananas USDA Certified Organic, Vegan & Non-GMO 2.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I ordered these to have a non-perishable, healthy snack for kayaking days... and because I love the light crunch of freeze-dried fruit. Bananas (along with chocolate, coffee, tea, cotton and others) are something where organic and fair-trade make a huge difference for the environment and for the workers farming them, so I was thrilled to find these. Notes on Their Labeling: I don’t see anything on the label that indicates it contains potassium, but in researching it does not appear that freeze-drying destroys that, so I don’t know if it’s just an oversight. Seems from some other reviews there may sometimes be labeling issues with this company’s products (like the calories per serving don't line up with the calories or serving size on my fitness tracking app, the package says gluten-free but fine print says produced in a facility that processes wheat, so not sure if they guarantee no cross-contamination for those with severe allergies). My first order from them had packaging that stated it was fair-trade. The second implied it on the back but didn't state it. Anyway, it appears to be an ethically produced product, they were tasty with nice texture, and the bags I got had a generous amount in them, so 5 stars for my needs.

Got them for my bunny so they weren't meant for me (tasted gross TO ME but then again, I hate dried bananas). Really wanted her to start eating some other things besides hay and pellets, but if it isn't lettuce she doesn't seem to care. She has a weird thing where she doesn't like fresh bananas but has gone crazy for the dried ones. If you're looking for a treat for your bunny, I recommend these as there isn't anything extra added to them. Lola has been snatching them since day one and runs out of her cage to receive one.

The taste is good, the texture is what I looking for and product was exactly what I expected and ordered. I like adding the bananas to my vanilla yogurt to add sweetness and texture. I gave four stars because I feel that it is a bit pricey for the size.

Wow! These freeze dried bananas have the perfect flavor. It has been hard for me to find these in store. Online too. But this is the first time I have found such a great tasting freeze dried fruit. I am new to the whole freeze dried food thing but man, bananas is where it's at!! And these bananas are perfect. They have the perfect crunch and best flavor. Sweet and melts in your mouth. I couldn't believe how many came in one pack. Bananas filled to the top! I think I have bought about 5 bags just this week! I hope this company stocks up because I am spreading the good word on this product. I've also tried the strawberries and they are also divine! Great price, please don't stop selling these!!!

I purchased the freeze dried bananas and strawberries as a refreshing after class snack, but ended up not being as refreshing as anticipated. At first glance, freeze dried snacks being organic and having good reviews deceived me to believe I could eat these on their own — Definitely not for me. The freeze dried bananas left a strange film in my mouth, I believe I was expecting a ‘banana chip’ and not a pillow drawn, sand banana. The freeze dried strawberries were better than the bananas out of the two that I purchased. They are more edible on their own (rather than used in a drink recipe, etc.) and have a more natural texture than the bananas. The only downside to the strawberries that I purchased is that they’re extremely sour and leave a red residue on my hands. Not a mess-free finger food option. The bananas have since been given away and the strawberries were used in mock-tail recipes that call for freeze dried strawberries, leaving me to say that they’re just OK. I’m overall disappointed and wish I did more research before purchasing these freeze dried fruits, or maybe they’re just not for everybody. I haven’t used them as after school snacks since opening.

Pure air and sugar, horrible taste, sticks teeth. Although, ripe bananas are high in sugar content. I expected this product to be tasty and enjoying enjoyable, it wasn't.

i genuinly love these things i am disappointed there isnt much in the bag. these are perfect and i love them.

My favorite! They are more soft then the ones you buy at Walmart or anywhere else. Also more sweet and "fluff."
