Great product but pricey. Less toxic option which is great. I enjoyed using this for my son and husband’s laundry. When washed-it has a more manly, light scent to it.

Our son has eczema, so we're constantly searching for the best products that won't irritate his skin. I love the smell of laundry detergent, but typically we have to choose unscented products because the chemical scents cause skin irritations and rashes on his body. I was excited to read reviews of this laundry soap, but a little hesitant to pull the trigger based on negative comments about size and lack of concentration/smell. I went with my gut and ordered the smaller size.I absolutely LOVE this laundry detergent! I've tried it on about 8 loads so far and feel it far surpasses the laundry detergent I was using before (an unscented, earth-friendly brand.). Don't be alarmed by the small bottle. This stuff is highly concentrated and a little bit goes a LONG way. The directions tell you to measure in the cap, but the cap is tiny and this is a messy process. I use a 1-ounce medicine cup (the kind that comes on top of cough syrup) for easy use. I have a top load, large capacity, HE washing machine that's brand new. I fill the detergent to the very top of the 1-ounce cup and either put it inside the liquid tray or put it directly in the washer. Either works fine.What I love the most about this detergent (besides the fact that it cleans well and doesn't irritate my son's skin) is the smell. It is WONDERFUL! Too much Patchouli can smell like a crowded 70s concert, so I like the fact that it's paired with Frankincense to even it out. Once the clothes enter the dryer, I can smell the fragrance throughout my home and even outside (because the dryer vent exits the side of my house.). I didn't really believe the reviews stating that no fabric softener is needed when using this soap, but it is completely true! I've tested that out multiple times and not a bit of static remains in my clothing once it's out of the dryer. Once dried, the clothing holds a faint smell of the laundry detergent. It's not enough to make people stop and take notice when walking past you, but it's enough to get a nice aroma when giving your loved one a hug. I'd compare it to just a small dab of perfume on your skin.Yes, this laundry soap is expensive when you look at the size and compare it to store brands, but it's well worth the money for what you get. It definitely yields 32 loads if you measure it out carefully. I actually like the small size because it stores easily and is simple to pour and use. I'll continue to buy this soap because of it's cleaning power, wonderful smell, and hypoallergenic nature for our skin-sensitive family.

I have been using this for a couple weeks now. I am trying to switch over to using as many organic and natural products as I can so I appreciate this one because it works. I will say it is one of only two that I have tried so far. I like that is has a decent smell - not the best but its okay, unlike many organic laundry soaps and detergents that have no scent so the clothes get clean but still come out smelling kind of dirty. I would like it if they would try some different scents too though. I really like this brand, I use their shower soap and it works great. The only downside is this bottle of laundry soap is pretty small and pricey for the amount you are getting. On the plus side your don't have to use very much as it is strong and fairly concentrated but if I were buying for more than just me, an average to large family would go through this bottle very quickly.

Wonderful detergent! I love the smell! Clothes come out fresh smelling! Need vert little for a load of clothes!It’s pricey ! I use it for my delicate clothes!

Love the smell (patchouli). It lasts for a long time but isn’t overwhelming. Does a great job cleaning your clothes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my new favorite detergent. It’s toxic-free which is hard to find. It smells amazing. They use all natural essential oils for the fragrance so beware. It has coconut oil in it as well. My son and I have sensitive skin but this does not bother it. Please note that only their sea salt and lavender is fully toxic-free.
