I always thought a knife is good enough to spread peanut butter and no need of a spreader.Well I couldn’t be more wrong.This set of spreaders really make a difference.So happy I bought them.I heartily endorse this product.Great price,well made and easy to clean.

Strong, stylish and sturdy.

They do what I need them to do, spread stuff which is great! However, it seems that the handles are stained with the color rather than being naturally colored. I found out the hard way when I washed these prior to using them. I went to dry them off and all four left stains on the drying towel. Then the first time I actually used them, I rinsed off the spreader and set it in the sink...and it left a stain in my sink. I guess I don't need them to be perfect being my first spreader set, I'll just try to keep them away from easily stained surfaces.

I just love these cheese/butter knives. I use them daily for so many things. I use them to spread butter or jam. I can use these for sandwich making and then to cut the sandwich in half with the serrated edge. They are so useful! Plus now I have 4, so I'll always have one on hand.

If you are not looking for something that that you plan on keeping for years, then these will probably work. I had no delusions of getting Legacy dinnerware at this price point, and for what I do they are sufficient. I would rate them equivalent to the items that you would find at the Dollar Tree store chain and they are priced about the same with the convenience of delivery. That was mainly what I was making my decision on. These do state that they are hand wash items only, and I follow that rule as I have other items that are also hand wash only. I have washed each of these approximately five times and the handles on them are already starting to break down. Whatever coloring they apply to the wood handle, is just that coloring, and offers no protection against water or moisture at all. The wood seems to be abnormally absorbent of water, and even if you pat them dry as soon as you finish washing them, so they are dry to the touch, they still absorb just enough water that over the short time I've had them they handles have all begun to crack. If you're looking for a short-term kitchen use item that you know in the near future you will dispose of, or just have no concern about the condition of the wood handle, then these will probably do the work for you and the price is definitely cheap enough.

We have had these for quite a while now and they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Also, they have held up to the dishwasher just fine.

Exactly what I wanted. I love these to spread cream cheese, sandwich spreads, and icings. I think the bonus is they have a serrated edge that is literally sharp enough to slices tomatoes thin.
