Well, I have the gray version and if they are all made the same way, which I think they would be, it is a non-slip mat. I use it all the time and have absolutely no trouble with it - it’s well made.

Q: What is the thickness of this pad? My antique wood desk has a slightly uneven/cracked top, is this firm enough to provide a level writing surface?

Q: Is this desk pad non-slip?

I have mine on a glass desk and it does slip. However, I just placed a few pieces of double sided tape under it and that fixed the problem. If you are considering this product, don’t let that deter you. Quality product!
