Kenya, it's for a chair. It doesn't give much relief. You're going to need more than the 2" of support. This pad is 2" or less. I would try to get a doctor to prescribe something if you have medicare or medicaid. Some suppliers of durable equipment have financial assistance for the remaining 20% if you have the insurance. If you have caregivers they could look things up for you on line. Your Dr. should have prescribed something if you are bed-ridden and having pain, and I imagine sores as well. There are advocates out there to help.. start with Adult Protective Services and see if they can help. In the state where I live I can dial 211 which gets me to a menu which then directs me to Adult Protective Services. Maybe you can try that. Try writing to Mike Lindell (the My Pillow guy) and tell him your situation. He has similar products for the bed.. you never know. He might be able to help. Prayers!
