IL-2 Sturmovik Birds Of Prey - PSP

My 15 year old loves this game for its unlimited bullets, a good amount of bombs and missiles, and the fun and challenging missions to select from. The cons on this game for him was how you had to return your plane in its upright original position first before you can change your turn or direction.

傑作レシプロ機空戦シミュレータ「ＩＬ−２」のＰＳＰ版ソフトです。が、明らかにＰＳ３版ＩＬ−２とは別物と考えてください。ＩＬ−２が非常に完成度の高いソフトだったため、この携帯ゲーム機版でもそのエッセンスが多少なりとも楽しめるのでは、と思いプレイしました。・・・しかしこれはきつい。まず、プレイヤーの機体の挙動が飛行機のそれではありません。このゲーム、なんと、自機が３６０度ロール（横転）はおろか１８０度ロールすら出来ません。左右約９０度ずつまでしか回転できないようになっており、通常状態から背面飛行に入れないのです。つまり、下方向への移動は、左右への傾きは無しで前方下向きに普通に下降するしかありません。そのため、本来なら格好の攻撃目標となるはずの、自機より低高度を移動する敵機をそのままバンクして上方から追いかけることが事実上不可能で、まずはわざわざ敵機と完全に同じ水平面上に移動してから旋回してドッグファイトに持ち込まなくてはなりません。あまりに変な操作感と勝手な挙動アシスト（ロールを阻み機体を水平に押し戻す）で、不自然を通り越してある種、高難易度ですらあります。傑作、ＩＬ−２とはほぼ共通点の無い「トンデモ」ゲーですので、挑戦される方はそれなりのご覚悟を。

I asked my son to rate this game as it was bought for him for his birthday. He said he enjoys it but the missions can be quite difficult. My son is 11 and enjoys a lot of war games. I'd recommend this to boys the same age range as him although the pegi rating is 7+.

Graphics, of course not as good as home console systems. The dialog is very repititious and a bit annoying. When you shot down a plane you can hear the sound of the crash yet the developer has subtitiles that say (noise) when a sound is created? You can breeze thru the average setting in a day or 2. Flight controls are very limited ( way to easy to fly), you cant land anywhere-no landing missions, flight characteristics are very simple (no stalls-spins), just because theres no other ww2 flight sims I rate this a 6 out of 10. I expected better quality and game play from the 505 IL-2 brand name. Also, import games play fine on U.S. bought systems.

ＰＳ３版も所有していますが、あまりにの良作さにこのＰＳＰ版も購入．．なんじゃこりゃ、ぜんぜん別物じゃないか。グラフィックスはＤＳレベル。ロールしない飛行機なんてねーよ！ＰＳＰで普及させようとして初心者用の操作モードにするのは分かるけど、せめて設定変更可能にしておいてくれ！いやはや、とんだ（飛んだ）買い物をしてしまった。
