Great product
This thing works great, used it to shine diamond plate tool boxes and other aluminum odds and ends, really cuts the oxidation off. It’s not a final polish wheel so don’t expect it to be a one step process, I got a finer grit zephyr wheel to follow with and a harbor freight cotton wheel to finish with mother’s polish. With this process it’s nearly a mirror finish.

It's not magic. But techie and correct tools help
I haven't used other products. But this manufacturer has always done the trick when polishing metals for me. It's not magic. U have to know how to heat the metal. Pressure is important. Machine is important. But I enjoy this product and will purchase again

Works very well
I'm a total newbie at polishing. I polished the aluminum diamond plate parts on my golf cart with this and they came out fantastic! Does the job quickly and rather easily. I now feel very confident to undertake polishing the aluminum parts on my car hauler trailer! Only downside, it's messy with cloth fuzz and polish flying everywhere....probably my fault due to inexperience. All in all, would definitely recommend.

Works well
I used this to clean and polish the pontoons on my boat. I am pleased with the results. It took a while to get the hang of using it, but I am glad that I kept at it.

This product is for experienced detailers only.
This pad is VERY stiff and difficult to break in and it is difficult to get the compound to stick to the pad. I am not a professional detailer and I do not recommend this product to the beginner.

Perfect for polishing badly damaged aluminum diamond plate
I had a badly oxidized and scaly diamond plate truck box. I used California Custom Products Purple Metal Polish/deoxidizer Combo to get rid of the scale(really the deoxidizer did all the work) which left a white haze over the aluminum.This wheel on a 4" grinder works wonders although you have to let the grinder cool periodically because it's doing a lot of work. When done, it left a brilliant mirror finish.Highly recommend!
