This waterproof membrane fabric worked perfectly with AquaDefense.

My son, the roofer, uses this fabric and hydrostop for roofs, porches, decks. He’s currently using it for my porch. It’s water resistant and will save the plywood, which was rotting from rain coming in on it and sitting. This size perfect for edges around posts. The cost is so much less than local roofing companies. Arrived quickly.

I just finished this tub/shower enclosure. This item is much less expensive than Kerdi Band or other brands but hopefully will last ok. I used Durock for the tub walls and applied this to the corners and seams using the Mapei waterproofer. It's probably more waterproof now.

Very easy to work with

I did a test and put a 6x6 layer in a pour over coffee filter housing. It held water for a minute or two and then poured right through. It might work in conjunction with waterproofing paint, but if it is called waterproof membrane it should be waterproof. Zero stars Chinese junk
