TRA039 - Compatible with Traxxas Slash 4x4 Stainless Steel Screw Kit

I love maintenance kits like this.

These work great! I haven’t had any issues with them rusting, but they do seem to be a lower grade of stainless steel as they can strip out if you’re not careful, especially with a cheap Allen wrench as they tend to be undersized. I have a set of the Traxxas impact Speed bits, which are precision ground to size, and I’ve never had any issues with stripping unless I’m doing what they’re not designed for.

Would like to see a few more types of screws, but the kit is great overall. As some have mentioned, the 2mm screws strip fairly easy. They are great for areas that do not require frequent maintenance. This problem does not exist with the 2.5mm screws. A few more washers, shoulder, and pan head screws would make this kit five stars. However, as-is this kit is likely the best buy on Amazon.

Not sure if it's a complete car kit but does have plenty of everything also most screws are either a little to long or a little to short when comparing to original regardless I would say this is a must have.

my tools fit well in the Hex head screws. They don't strip easily and are a big upgrade over Philips screws.

Nice little case with all the screws I needed. So far they are holding up. Price is a little steep for what you get it seems like, but you get a nice case and it saves you time for tracking them all down at a hardware store.

Good set, enough for complete changeover on slash and have backups. 3 Star is because my set didn’t have hardly any grub screws. 3 of one size and 2 of another. Not even enough to do all 4 tires. Probably random how many of what kind of screws you get.
