The crown is sizable as described. It’s also bendable to the shape of your head making it slightly more comfortable.

I purchased this crown for a King Harold (Shrek) costume I am putting together. The crown is metal with a brilliant gold finish. The size is adjustable, but it fit my head well right out of the box. The crown is stiff, and probably will not be comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, but it should be fine for the couple of hours I need to wear it. I'm planning to glue glass jewels to it from a collection of broken vintage consume jewelry my wife has. I'm very satisfied with this crown. It literally is the crown jewel of my costume, so selecting the right one was important to me.

Very nice crown. The only issue I had was to keep it closed where it was adjusted. Theres 3 holes & a peg to adjust the fit. I set it to the second hole, but it would spring open. We bent it a lil to help it stay closed. Otherwise it was fine.

I used this crown as part of my Halloween costume, and it definitely got attention. It’s surprisingly comfortable to wear and doesn’t look cheap at all. A fun addition that helped me own my costume.

This is obviously a jokey prop for an occasion, but if you're buying something like this, you want it to look the part. This one certainly does, and will last indefinitely. My only complaint is that it's not comfortable, but that's because the metal is substantial enough not to bend to the shape of your head. It has adjustable notches that will enlarge or reduce it to the size of your head so it won't fall off, and that's the best you can ask for.

On this crown for a king presentation at a school. Was glad that when I received was metal. However, the rivets inside were very sharp and made the crown uncomfortable to wear. Ended up putting some weatherstripping inside to make it easier. Just be warned.

Could easily be used as is, but is pretty much perfect as a foundation to be customized or embellished. I used ink to tarnish it, glued on some metal backed rhinestones and a painted skull for our Hades/Lich inspired costume. No particularly sharp edges or burrs. It is very round, as in not particularly head shaped, but it does have three size options on the adjustable band, which lock in place solidly. Was easy enough to tweak to get a good fit. No complaints.

Wore this to the Renaissance Faire and it was the perfect addition to my costume. The size is easy to adjust and it make a fun accessory. I kind of want to wear it to every day events.
