Yes, it charges with a built in USB that is under the truck

Q: Anyone know the wheelbase size? Wanna get this and try fitting the body on a 1/10 drift chassis which has a wheelbase of 258mm

Wheel base on a scx10ii is 313mm, It won’t work on most 1/10 drift chassis

Q: Do i need to purchase another battery and if so where?

The rechargeable battery is built in, no need to go buy one. We didn't take apart the Cybertruck model to see if the battery pack is easily replaced. The battery charging cable is under the battery cover. The battery itself is tucked inside the Cybertruck, with many screws and long thin screwdrivers needed to get it apart.
