Noise:I ordered this for my Stihl FS 56 straight shaft trimmer. It works great and lasts just as long as the stuff that came with the trimmer. I wasnt really concerned with the noise since I wear hearing protection and also trimmer motors are usually way louder than the line itself, but this line does seem to be a little quieter than the original line I had.Quality:I am impressed with how long this lasts while trimming my sidewalk. I run the trimmer at a lower speed for easier control and I can trim my entire sidewalk without letting the line out once. I use the same method on my limestone foundation to protect it and conserve string. Of course If you run full throttle the line is going to get chewed up and you will go through more line.Loading the line:I have used this to restring my trimmer once so far and it was a breeze. I set the spool on a bolt I have mounted vertically to my my workbench. this kept the spool from sliding, but allows it to rotate. I then left the black mesh on the spool to provide tension on the line and keep it from turning into a birds nest on the spool. I hand wound the line onto my trimmer head. The friction between the spool and my workbench seemed to be just right to provide enough tension in the line so I could get a nice clean wrap but not make it difficult to turn.

I am a homeowner and mow one yard, my yard. It works MUCH better than the stuff you get at the store. I had been using red (semi transparent) plastic string from Walmart that would kink and didn't roll on or release off the spool very well. This stuff is much better, night and day difference. It is more flexible, not nearly as brittle and cuts a lot nicer.I will most definitely buy again, but this spool will probably last for 3+ years. Once concern I now have is that I hope it stays as flexible (fresh) over time and does not become brittle.

If you shop your options for purchasing replacement line for your line trimmer this makes economical sense. Prior to my purchase the available reviews were of good help. As other reviewers stated as I agree also and do not know if I can substantiate the low noise or as they market it LoNoiz. Possible some puffing on that claim. In my experience I can tell you that the line appeared to last longer with less bumping for more line. This tells me personally from my experience of using the product that it is of a good quality. With approximately using two tanks of fuel on one cut and only a couple of bumps for more line it performed well. At 855 feet of line in the spool and 12 ft to re spool my line trimmer each time do the math. Even with weekly usage year round here in SWFL the spool should last a few years.

This is the WORST string I've ever used. Compared to other brands it is worthless, it wears out so fast you spend way too much time filling the spool again. The noise sales pitch is silly, the engine will be over-revving from the string being too short too fast, which is even noisier. I'd like my money back, but I've used part of the spool to learn this one is JUNK! Avoid it!!!!

I never thought that line would make a difference in control of my weed eater .But with this line can control my weed eater better it does"t bounce off rocks ect. and I can hold it lever plus it is tough line too best line I have ever bought yet I will buy more well worth the price.

I was pleasantly surprised with the "commercial" qualities that this line has demonstrated. It was a great price and I honestly expected a much lesser product. This is a very rigid line that holds up very well against concrete edging and does a great job of cutting edges around mulch beds/sidewalks/etc. As a homeowner I wont be buying more line for a very long time thanks to this great purchase.

Good line. Low noise, cuts down thick tumble weeds well, and is easy to load.
