Q: Can this be used on a 12 gauge shotgun?

We asked the Manufacturer and they replied: "We do not give any warranty on any units used on a 12 gauge shotgun. The highest recoil these are rated for is .308."

Q: Can you use it during the daytime also?

Yes a thermal scope can be used both in the day and Night works better at night due to temperature difference. Don’t listen to people that mistake nightvision and thermal devices. Night vision can only be used at night.

Q: Can this scope be used during daytime as well similar to a regular scope?

Yes. Daytime useable. The picture isn't as good and detail won't be great but it doesn't hurt the scope to be used in daytime.

Q: What are the best rechargeable batteries to use with this thermal?
