Not suitable for UAE number plates

Very high quality picture. Very defined. Came with the proper cables. Easy installation. No blinding white LED lights when in reverse. The night vision is INSANELY IMPRESSIVE. Will buy this for all my vehicles going forward.

I looked at this camera and thought is was study. It is sturdy but wasn't an easy installation to my 2003 Silverado. The standard license plate was just a wee bit too big for the frame. I have the right tools so I trimmed the plate to fit the frame. Notably, the mounting holes in the frame are hexagon shaped and that led to another minor problem to overcome. After purchasing appropriate screws and nuts n bolts I proceeded to mount the frame with my license tags affixed. The frame JUST squeezes into the space provided by Chevrolet. Only after I removed the rubber shock/bumpers at the bottom of the space did it fit.I am still not totally pleased with the way the frame mounts to the truck. The wiring for the camera is somewhat compressed to the opening behind the plate and frame. In other words, the frame compresses the wire/cable and I believe eventually it will degrade the cable and the camera will fail. My fix will involve, dismounting the camera, find some small spacers or maybe some welt material to allow the frame to be positioned a fraction of an inch and gain the space for the cable relief, and ,hopefully, be able to get the frames lower holes to clear the space between the bumper and body. All in all, the installation demonstrates a lack of engineering to allow the camera to be mounted where it needs to go. My Silverado is a lot like millions of other trucks in America.I like the quality image presented by the camera. I like that it does seem much more robust than the "eared", behind the frame, camera that it replaced... yay, no more spindly mounts. The price point was an incentive to purchase this camera. It remains to be seen is this camera will last.EDIT: I ended up removing the frame and, using a small round file, I filed a groove in the top of the frame to allow the cable to exit from there. The cable was being compressed as suspected. I really like this frame/camera one-piece but am not thrilled that I have had to modify it as I have. A bunch of little things add up to a pain in the neck.

Actual night vision and not just a low light cam as several of the others I have tried or seen.Might could be a better quality image but that could be limited by the screen I am viewing it on.Best thing...it don't cover up the sticker on my tag, which can get you pulled over.

The product was a huge success the upgrade value that it added is priceless I’m glad I added it when it was suggested.
