My daughter has cancer. Bought this to cover up her PICC line so she can shower and go in the pool. It is very snug so definately keeps the water out....but is it a challenge putting it on due to the tightness

Absolute game changer for anyone with picc line or arm injury that needs to keep dry while showering! This is excellent protection with sure and secure water protection when used properly. You can easily put it on alone without needing help. Once applied movement of extremity is normal as if it weren’t even on so showering is normal and wasy for hair washing with two arms/hands. The material is strong yet soft that doesnt impeded movement at all. one size fits all. Jusat wish that with today’s economy and knowing that if you have a picc line you’re most probably not working and income maybe an issure it would be nice to see it a little more cost effective.

I ordered a medium cover as recommended by the sizing chart and my bicep circumference. It was quite tight, but acceptable both at the top above the bicep, and just below the elbow. I never pulled the lower seal area all the way up to my elbow, but kept it below that where my arm is smaller. The bottom end hole is quite a bit smaller that the other. If your arms are built like Popeye the Sailor, this product probably won't work for you. After putting it on, you will notice there is air trapped between the cover and your arm making the cover puff up. As mentioned in other reviews and the directions you should "burp" it after you put it on to let as much air out as you easily can. Just bend your elbow as much as you can with a finger between the upper seal of the cover and your upper arm, then remove your finger before straightening your elbow. After reading reviews of this and other covers, I was quite careful to stretch the cover as little as possible while putting it on and off. To put it on, I first coaxed the narrow end of the cover onto my lower arma couple of inches below my elbow, then pulled the wider part over my hand, over the lower seal, over the picc line and bicep, to just below my armpit. This turns the cover inside-out, but I could not tell the inside from the outside anyway. Removal, was just the reverse of the procedure to put it on. I used the cover for nearly 6 weeks , averaging just over one shower per day. The cover worked well with no signs of deterioration until my picc line was removed today. I am happy with the product and the supplier. I did try the plastic wrap technique first once or twice. It seemed to work well, but I was not happy with that process, maybe because it took quite a while and the bathroom trash can was full when I was done. Had I used it a few more times, I might have gotten used to it, but ordered this cover instead. The cover arrived quickly and matched the description as near as I could tell. I gave the product 5 stars even for durability because it did everything I needed it to do. I don't doubt though that someone could easily tear the product if they aren't very gentle, or if their cover is too small for their arm.
