AFX FX-41DS Helmet - Frost Gray - Medium

there is a lot to like about this helmet; price point, comfort, style, the quick release strap, the internal sun visor, etc.i've only had very minor temporary fogging on some mornings but living by the water its like driving through clouds some days. it vents well, and it looks pretty sharp, but that style comes with a bit of a cost... noise. anything over 40 mph it gets a lot of wind noise if you aren't behind a wind screen. may not be ideal for long voyages due to the noise, but no problems for an hour or so of driving.

Sizing was off. Went with measurements of 58-59 cm. The size chart called it a Medium but I could barely get it on. Might be the shape of my dome. I'm more oval than round. Ordered a LG and we'll see what happens. Also the inner sun visor seems like it will "volunteer" itself if the helmet shakes much. We'll see on the next one if it was just this helmet or not. I liked most of the other features though. Will update when I get the new size.

Looks cool but it's not real comfortable and the sizes run small. I would rate it higher if the quality of the padding and inside of the helmet was better.

Light enough. Distortion free visor. Poor finish.
