Comes in handy for insect bites. I've used this on mosquito, ant and spider bites, and it does help make the itching go away much faster.

I purchased this as I was recovering from Extensor tendon surgery and needed suction to separate the scar tissue from the tendon. This thing is pretty amazing, affordable and durable. I have been using this daily for several weeks and it has held up well. Its intended purpose is extraction of venom and I would assume that it would do a great job as the suction is pretty strong and you can do it one handed. My physical therapist uses one of these and I purchased to continue the physical therapy. The suction is strong enough to elevate my skin about 1/2" into the suction.

We bought this and another brand to add to our first aid kit. Hopefully we'll never need it, but you never know. Rattlesnakes like to sun themselves everywhere around here.

I purchased this to take on our camping trips, because my old one had broken. This one is similar in construction and looks like it will work. Seems well made, and the company seems responsive and cutomer oriented. I purchased it to be prepared not that I was going camping where there are known to be a lot of snakes and bugs. So can't say it is tried and tested. I am not expecting that if I need it there will be any problem using it.

Product comes as pictured. No surprises (which is good). Fortunately, I haven't had reason to use it yet!

I have been using this to treat scar adhesions from surgery. The product was recommended by my treatment nurse and am thrilled to tell you that it actually helps with the soreness around my scar. I would get some expert instruction on how to use it before starting. For my scar I simply used the suction up and down the scar and after daily use for about 4 weeks I noticed a marked reduction in soreness.

I live in a tropical climate, so this was something I have wondered about purchasing for years. I love that the cup that suctions is clear so I can see through it. Does nothing for mosquito bites though (which it advertises it does). Luckily haven't had to use it for anything else. Please make sure you never use it on snake bites, just get to a hospital ASAP.
